Order your Christmas gift boxes by these dates for guaranteed arrival:
- North Island addresses: 18 December before 12 PM
- South Island Express shipping: 18 December before 12 PM
- South Island Economy shipping: 16 December before 12 PM
- Rural delivery areas: Check individual cut-off dates above
Orders placed before 2 PM dispatch the same business day. However, during the final week before Christmas, large order volumes can mean processing takes an extra day or two. The earlier you order, the more relaxed everyone stays.
You can select your preferred dispatch date before adding items to your cart. We’ll hold your order and send it on the date you choose.
However, we can only control when gifts leave our warehouse, not how long couriers take during December. Standard delivery timeframes (1 to 2 days for North Island, 2 to 3 days for South Island) usually hold true, but December brings unpredictable delays. The week after Black Friday and the final week before Christmas see particularly heavy courier volumes across New Zealand.
When to send depends on your circumstances:
- First week of December works well for workplace gifts. Many offices start winding down early, and you’ll catch colleagues before the holiday chaos begins. Corporate Secret Santa exchanges typically happen during this period.
- Second week of December (our recommended window) hits the sweet spot for most Christmas gifts. People are still at work, feeling festive, and haven’t left for summer holidays yet. This timing ensures recipients actually receive their gifts rather than finding a collection card when they return in January.
- Third week of December only makes sense when you know the recipient will definitely be home for Christmas. Many workplaces close by 20 December, and people often head away for summer holidays. Sending gifts this late risks parcels sitting uncollected at post shops over the break.

Every product in our Christmas hampers is shelf-stable and designed for enjoyment well into the new year. We work exclusively with artisan producers who create small-batch treats with proper best-before dates, typically extending at least 2 to 3 months beyond Christmas Day. Specific dates appear on individual product packaging.
That said, we’ve rarely heard of anyone actually testing these dates. Most recipients find the treats far too delicious to last more than a few days.
Free shipping applies to all orders valued over $175 delivered to a single address. For orders under $175, North Island delivery starts at $9.90 and South Island delivery starts at $14.90. Wellington offers same-day express delivery from $21.90.
Yes! Add a custom greeting card with your personal message before adding items to your cart. We hand-write your message on quality cardstock, place it in an envelope with the recipient’s name, and tuck it inside the gift box. This service costs $2.50 and makes every Christmas present feel thoughtfully prepared, even when sent directly to the recipient.
Yes! Our bulk order service handles multiple deliveries across New Zealand with minimal effort from you. Simply download our bulk gift order form, fill in delivery addresses, and upload the file. We’ll dispatch Christmas gifts directly to each recipient with individual tracking.

- Under 25 boxes: Allow 4 to 5 business days (often faster depending on stock)
- 50+ boxes: Request 1 to 2 weeks notice for best availability
