Chris and Linda Smith discovered a neglected olive grove during a bike ride in Mangawhai in 2012, restored it, and now produce award-winning EVOO from five varieties. Their grove was selected for a national research programme that doubled olive yields across NZ. They’ve won medals every year since their first harvest and still run community picking days.
