I asked if possible that my gift be delivered in 26 August as it was a birthday surprise. Unfortunately the gift was delivered on Saturday 23rd and my family were away for the weekend. I was not pleased. I am the recipient will enjoy your products, but I might think twice before ordering again.

I can understand your disappointment about the Saturday delivery. This caught us off guard too, as NZ Post doesn't usually deliver on Saturdays, which is why we calculated the dispatch timing as we did. Unfortunately, once parcels are in the courier system, we can't control their delivery routes or when they choose to make deliveries.
This is actually a challenge that affects all online retailers using courier services. With Monday and Tuesday delivery requests, we face a real dilemma: if we hold off dispatching until Monday to avoid early delivery, there's a risk the gift arrives late with NZ Post's 1 to 2 business day timeframe. We always aim to dispatch early enough to hit the target date, but courier route planning occasionally results in earlier than expected delivery.
Would you consider updating your review to reflect that the products themselves were enjoyed? The delivery timing issue you experienced is really about how courier companies operate rather than our service, and as a small Kiwi business, reviews make a real difference to us.
